Ace Link Armor Level IV Hard Armor Plate is a composite plate utilizing highest grade UHMW Polyethylene backing enhanced by silicone carbide ceramic on the strike face of the plate. Thanks to this unique construction first biggest impact is dispersed on the surface of ceramic while PE backing absorbs rest of the energy and effectively catches the bullet.

Yes! Our plate meets level 4 NIJ standards and can stop black-tip as well as .30-06-cal. APM2.
Steel plates have several disadvantages such as spalling and increased weight. Running a set of our Level 4 plates will weigh in for a total of around 11 pounds not counting the rifle and any other gear a person may carry. A similar set of steel plates could EASILY run 15-18 pounds, the weight savings you get by going with Ace Link Armor are enormous.
